lthough long-term care financing issues for older adults has been a public policy issue for 3 decades, long-term care for younger people has been virtually ignored until recently. This paper looks at the size of the younger population, what younger people want from the long-term care system, how service delivery should be organized, and what options are needed to finance services for younger people with disabilities.
